Wellington can get extremely cold in winter, which is why it’s a good idea to keep your family and home warm by installing a fireplace.

At Complete Fires, we can remove original fireplaces and complete all of aspects of new fireplace installation, including completing council permits.

Not only does a fireplace keep you warm when it’s cold outside, but it also adds aesthetic and a comfortable ambience to your home, and can increase the value of your house when it comes time to sell.

So, what types of fireplaces can you install in your home and where should you put it?

At Complete Fires, we offer a free onsite visit and quote. We’ll come out to your house and provide you with advice on which fireplace would suit your home, the best place to put it, and the price.

There are two types of wood fireplaces we can install, which include:

Freestanding Fireplaces

As the name suggests, freestanding fireplaces can go almost anywhere you want in your home.

There is a large variety of sizes and styles  of freestanding fireplaces, so there will always be the perfect fire to meet your requirements.

    Inbuilt Fireplaces

If you don’t want to take up space by installing a freestanding fireplace, a wall one is the way to go.

If you have an existing hearth, installing a new fireplace in it can make your heater more efficient. Instead of the heat and smoke going straight outside, you can choose a model that redirects the heat into the room.

If you don’t have a hearth but want to enclose your fireplace, a zero clearance fireplace is the solution.
